Meet Cindy Homel, MS/LMFT, our Licensed Marriage and Family Psychotherapist at Center Point Counseling.
Cindy graduated from California Lutheran University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology with special emphasis in behavioral assessment and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. She has six years of experience counseling children, adolescents, adults, couples and families from diverse backgrounds and various religious denominations. Cindy specializes in working with clients who suffer from depression, anxiety, and trauma. Her other areas of specialty include couples, adolescent and parenting challenges, and working with children who suffer from ADHD. Cindy also works with adolescents and families in a variety of areas including anger management, social skills and conflict resolution.
In addition to her counseling skills and credentials, Cindy has a heart for serving others through church ministries, speaking engagements and volunteer work through community organizations. Her desire to serve others and help those in need, along with her education and clinical skills, gives her a unique ability to help promote healthy functioning and interaction with clients and their loved ones.
