Over The Edge is coming to Downtown Gainesville – June 6, 2025
. . .as well as help an outstanding organization raise funds for their mission to enhance, strengthen, and change lives for Gainesville and Hall County students and their families?
This Summer 2025, Center Point will be bringing the internationally known fund-raising event, Over the Edge, to downtown Gainesville, Georgia. Through a unique adventure experience of safely rappelling down a multi-floor structure, an Over the Edge event will bring positive changes to our community. While the main purpose of Over the Edge is to raise funds for Center Point, building community is one of the added extras that comes from bringing an Over the Edge event to our city. Whether team building for co-workers or colleagues to build morale or participating as a family, there are no limitations on who can participate (Rappelers must be at least 100 lbs. with minors having parental approval; handicapped individuals are also invited to participate.)
Engaging with non-profits for over 20 years, the Over the Edge organization has an impeccable safety record. They have helped raise over $145 million dollars to date with over 110,000 participants that represents over 1,400 events across the U.S. and abroad. Over the Edge’s Gainesville event will take place on Thursday, June 5th for a VIP Day and Event Day on Friday, June 6th, 2025, and the building will be the seven story Parking Garage on Main Street. All rappelers are expected to raise at least $1,000.00 each to participate. We also have several sponsorship opportunities that include rappeler slots. Additionally, there is a special “Toss the Boss” incentive that provides raising funds within a company or organization to get the Boss to Go Over the Edge.
